K-Tip
K-Tip extensions are installed using a heating element or cold fusion method which safely melts the Keratin Tips onto your own hair. This Keratin Tip is partially made of the same occurring protein found in your hair.
I-Tip
I-Tip extensions are installed with a strand-by-strand application without using heat or glue, this is an especially great application for those with thinning hair around their hairline.
Nano Ring
Nano ring hair extensions are semi-permanent extensions that use a small ring to attach the extension to the natural hair. The ring used in nano-ring extensions is smaller than the ring used in micro-ring extensions making them less detectable and more comfortable to wear, especially for those with fine hair.
Tape
Tape extensions can add length and volume to all hair types; your hair can be worn in different styles with zero visibility of the attachment points.
Invisi-Tape
Invisi tape-ins are designed as the most undetectable tape-in. Making them perfect for fine or thinning hair. Each hair strand is hand sewn into the tape bond to mimic the look of natural hair growth.
Weft
Weft hair extensions are ideal for coarse, curly, or thicker hair. No tape, glue, or heat needed for this volume-enhancing look.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Questions Our Clients Often Ask
-
For finer hair types, we recommend tape in hair extensions. This is because tape extensions have a bigger attachment point compared to the amount of hair they hold, resulting in less strain placed on your natural hair.
Bonds have a much smaller attachment point which places more tension on fine hair. Many salons recommend bonded extensions as it requires a high level of experience to blend tapes with finer hair types and create a natural result.
-
Absolutely! Hair extensions shouldn’t restrict your ability to try out different hairstyles. We will strategically position your tapes or bonds, enabling you to switch between low and high ponytails.

Hair extensions are suitable for many different people, for a variety of reasons.
In addition to the obvious - being used for length, hair extensions can also be used to thicken the hair or add different tones without dying the natural hair.
To be a good candidate for hair extensions, we would generally need at least 4 inches of natural hair growth to be able to install them seamlessly, based on the methods that we offer.
If you are pregnant or have recently given birth. we would advise against hair extensions due to hormonal changes which can cause hair loss.
If you are on any medication that can cause hair loss or if you are suffering from any type of alopecia then we would also advise against having hair extensions.
Finally, hair extensions may not be suitable for you if you are not committed to the maintenance required as it's likely this will result in unnecessary damage to your natural hair.
Please get in touch if there's anything we haven't covered or if you would like to discuss your personal circumstances.

Hair extensions are a luxury service and should be seen as an investment. With that being said, the initial cost is always the most expensive due to the cost of the hair.
Regular maintenance appointments will be required in the meantime, however this service will cost a lot less as you'll already have the hair.
-
This is a common myth. Hair extensions will not damage your natural hair if they are installed correctly by a certified technician.
The majority of the responsibility also falls on the client to ensure the advised maintenance is followed and regular maintenance appointments are attended.
This will minimise damage to the hair and avoid unnecessary stress on the scalp.
Against popular belief, hair extensions can actually encourage your natural hair to grow if cared for correctly.

Heat
Always use a heat protector. You don't need to style your hair at the same temperature as your oven!
Brushing
Excessive and aggressive brushing should be avoided.
Mineral build up
Your hair will naturally absorb water as you wash it, so use a shower filter to avoid build up on the hair.
Drying
Ensure your hair is thoroughly dry after washing. Damp hair can cause matting and will break down.
Wear & Tear
Think when you throw your hair in a messy bun, when your hair gets caught, or when you have tangles to brush out.

Please do not attempt to remove your hair extensions yourself at home.
This is something your technician needs to do professionally to reduce damage to the hair and prevent unnecessary hair loss.
Please get in touch to book a removal appointment if required.

Yes, a consultation is always needed before having your hair extensions fitted so we can assess the health of your scalp and hair to check for any contra-indications and make sure we tailor our approach so that you can achieve the best results.
